Be an Ambassador

Penn Alumni Interviewing Program

Alumni interviewers help high school students learn more about Penn, and they help the Admissions Office learn more about applicants to the University.  Penn's alumni interviewers serve as ambassadors in their local communities and/or virtually, providing crucial assistance to the Undergraduate Admissions Office as they work to select the next generation of Penn students.   The primary goal of the Penn Alumni Interview Program (formerly known as the Secondary School Committee) is to offer an interview to every student who applies as a prospective undergraduate.

Call Admitted Students

Penn attracts the most talented students, and many of these students will be courted by other prestigious institutions. Call admitted students to congratulate them on their acceptance and provide them with advice during their evaluation process as they decide whether to say YES to Penn.

Serve on a Host Committee

There are several opportunities throughout the year, in different regions throughout the world, to serve on a host committee for an alumni event. It’s as simple as encouraging fellow alumni to attend an event, and having your name listed on the invitation. This opportunity gives alumni the opportunity to interact with seasoned volunteers like Trustees and School Overseers, who offer insight on career paths as well as on becoming involved as volunteer leader at Penn.
