Errol Lord of Philosophy Named a Marc Sanders Foundation Media Fellow

Errol Lord

Errol Lord, Associate Professor and Graduate Chair of Philosophy, was named to the Marc Sanders Foundation’s (MSF) inaugural class of Media Fellows. The 2021-2022 fellows were selected from a pool of 264 applicants by a committee consisting of academic philosophers and media industry professionals.

Funded in large part by a Public Engagement Grant from the Templeton Foundation, the MSF Philosophy in Media initiative aims to increase the presence of philosophy in print, audio, and video media by training philosophers to write and produce for the public, and by connecting philosophers to editors and commissioners in the media industry. Media Fellows will receive workshop training, connections to industry professionals, and a $1,500 honorarium.

Lord’s main interests are in ethical theory, epistemology, aesthetics, and the philosophy of perception. He is currently Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellow at the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.
