Karen Redrobe Receives Society for Cinema and Media Studies Distinguished Pedagogy Award

Karen Redrobe

Karen Redrobe, Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Endowed Professor in Film Studies, has received the 2025 Distinguished Pedagogy Award from the Society for Cinema and Media Studies (SCMS), an honor given out for “outstanding pedagogical achievements.”

It’s the first time in five years the award has been handed out. It’s part of the “Teaching, Service, and Career Awards” category and one of 12 awards SCMS has bestowed since 1971.
