Allyson Mackey Named CIFAR Global Scholar
Allyson Mackey, Assistant Professor of Psychology, was named a CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholar. She is one of 13 scholars in the 2020-2022 cohort.
CIFAR, a Canadian-based global research organization, funds and supports early-career researchers to help them become leaders in global research. The Global Scholars program awards recipients with $100,000 in research support over two years and provides opportunities for presentations and collaboration with members of their cohort.
Mackey’s research investigates how brain development and environmental and experiential factors contribute to changes in the mind. She studies brain plasticity, learning, structural and functional neuroimaging, and real-world academic outcomes.
