Dorothy Roberts Named PIK Professor

Dorothy Roberts, an acclaimed scholar of race, has been appointed the George A. Weiss University Professor of Law and Sociology, effective July 1. She is the University’s 14th Penn Integrates Knowledge (PIK) Professor, and her appointment will be split between the Department of Sociology and the School of Law.

Roberts is the author of more than 80 scholarly articles and book chapters, as well as a co-editor of six books on such topics as constitutional law, First Amendment law and women and the law.
