Eight College Students Named All-Ivy Honors for Fall 2011

Todd Busler, C’12, is an urban studies major, a two-time team captain for the sprint football team and was named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team as a junior.
Ryan Calvert, C’11, is also a football player and is recognized for the eighth-highest single season reception total in Penn history. He is an economics major.
Defensive captain Matt Cuccinello, C’12, also from Penn’s football team, majors in economics when not leading his team in tackles.
Erin Beck, C’13, is a junior captain for the women’s soccer team and helped lead the team to its best record in program history. Beck is a visual studies major.
Margaret Diacont, C’13, runs Penn track and field and concluded her season with a top-three finish in every meet. Off the track, Diacont studies fine arts.
A member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Associate Academic Squad, Mandy Epstein, C’13, is tied for seventh-best in the Ivy League in defensive saves. Epstein is a psychology major.
Adrienne Lerner, C’12, is a captain of the women’s soccer team and contributes to a defense that is a nationwide leader in its shutout percentage. When not providing defense on the field, Lerner participates in Penn in Washington, a summer mentorship program, a complementary tool for her political science studies.
Dani Shepherd, C’14, a member of the women’s volleyball team, leads the Ivy League with 32 aces for the season. She is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences and has not yet declared her major.
