RealArts@Penn 2014 Interns Have Summer Jobs from Rolling Stone to Brooklyn Films
RealArts@Penn was created in 2007 to integrate art-world practice into the intellectual life of the University. The program is sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and open to all Penn students. RealArts summer internships are unique arrangements with the hosting entities. The summer 2014 interns are:
- Katie Behrman, C’15, will intern at Rolling Stone magazine. She is majoring in English with a minor in French.
- Carolina Beltran, C’15, will intern at Brooklyn Films in Los Angeles with producer/director Jon Avnet, C'71. She is an English major with a creative writing concentration and a minor in Spanish.
- Manola Gonzalez, C’15, will intern at Philadelphia magazine. She is majoring in English and French studies with a political science minor.
- Isaac Kaplan, C’15, will intern at The Jewish Museum. He is an art history major.
- Julia Liebergall, C’15, will intern at Viacom Creative Services. She is a junior majoring in English with minors in creative writing and consumer psychology.
- Nathan Platnick, C’16, will intern for Shore Fire Media. He intends to major in English with a creative writing concentration.
- Brenda Wang, C’16, will intern at McSweeney's. She is an English major.
- Iris Williamson, C’16, will intern at the editorial blog of the Philadelphia Inquirer. She is an art history major.
- Caroline Yost, C’15, will intern with Los Angeles writers David Stern and Stuart Gibbs. She an English major with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in fine arts.
